Dana Medical Library Staffing Changes

Sandra Aldrich has moved from the position of Acquisitions/Cataloging Library Professional to Serials/E-resources Library Professional.

Several of Dana‘s long term staff members retired this past year. Shirley Bolkum, Library Support Senior in Technical Services retired in December 2007 after 35 years of service to Dana Library, and Helen Olson, Library Support Assistant in Technical Services retired in February 2008 after 17 years of service to the University.

Library Assistant Professor Tina Kussey, formerly Technical Services Librarian at Dana Medical Library, is now serving as Interim Director of Collection Development/Acquisitions in the Bailey/Howe Collection Management Services Division here at University of Vermont Libraries.

Dana welcomes a new part-time temporary Library Assistant Professor to the Reference Department. Claire LaForce is currently the Director of the Health Sciences Library at Rutland Regional Medical Center and working at Dana Fridays for the next 9 months. Claire will be at the reference desk and working on special projects in outreach. She is a native of Burlington, and looks forward to assisting the health sciences community in this area again.

Library Associate Professor Jeanene Light, former Head of Access Services at Dana Medical Library, is currently serving as Interim Director of Information and Instruction Services at Bailey/Howe Library.
